Vision Mates

Hello Rotary Club, I am reaching out as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. We run a volunteer program, called Vision Mates, that matches a volunteer in a local community with an individual who has sight loss and supports them for a couple of hours a week with sighted tasks, errands, and socialization. I have clients across the province, especially in your community, who urgently need a volunteer, and I am contacting local groups to see if you know of anyone who might be interested in volunteering. I am also open to coming in person and providing an informational session on CNIB as an organization and how your members can best partner with us as volunteers or as clients.
